Independent Advisory Collaboration

Independent Advisory Collaboration

iTech Governance Consulting is an independent advisory firm.

We do not sell technology, managed services, or implementation solutions. Our role is to help leadership teams make informed, defensible technology decisions grounded in strategy, governance, and risk awareness.

In some engagements, clients ask us to evaluate, collaborate with, or provide oversight alongside technology providers they are considering or already use. Any such collaboration occurs at the direction of the client and does not involve resale, referral arrangements, or commercial incentives.

Our responsibility in these situations is unchanged. We remain focused on objective evaluation, governance alignment, and leadership decision support. When external providers are involved, our role is to help ensure expectations are clear, risks are understood, and accountability is appropriately defined.

AI Governance

Advisory Collaboration With Lumenova AI

iTech Governance Consulting is not a reseller of AI platforms. In limited circumstances, we work alongside selected providers when clients require advisory support to evaluate, implement, and govern complex technologies. One such provider is Lumenova AI.

Lumenova AI is a governance and risk management platform designed primarily for enterprises. While being a highly capable platform, it is not turnkey. Smaller organizations that adopt platforms like Lumenova without governance structure, leadership ownership, and decision discipline may struggle to realize value or maintain control.

Our involvement is advisory. We help leadership teams determine whether a platform like Lumenova is appropriate, define governance expectations, establish oversight structures, and guide implementation so the investment aligns with business objectives, risk tolerance, and regulatory expectations.

Any platform evaluation or collaboration occurs at the direction of the client. iTGC does not resell licenses, conduct product demonstrations, or act as a sales agent. Our role remains focused on governance, decision support, and leadership accountability before, during, and after adoption.

Why This Collaboration Exists

Some organizations require both governance expertise and a supporting platform to operationalize AI oversight. In these cases, advisory guidance and technology enablement must work together. Our role is to ensure governance leads and tools follow, not the reverse.

Organizations navigating complex IT or AI decisions often benefit from independent Chief Technology Advisor guidance.

Automation Intelligence

Advisory Collaboration With Digital Align

iTech Governance Consulting does not resell automation platforms or deliver implementation services. In certain engagements, clients ask us to provide advisory oversight while they evaluate or work with firms that specialize in automation and process enablement. Digital Align is one such firm.

Digital Align focuses on automation and intelligence initiatives, primarily within financial institutions and regulated environments. Their work is operational and implementation-oriented, which sits outside iTGC’s advisory role. Our involvement is limited to helping leadership teams assess whether automation initiatives are appropriate, understand governance and risk implications, and ensure decision accountability before and during execution.

When Digital Align is engaged by a client, iTGC remains independent. We do not promote specific solutions, manage delivery, or participate in commercial arrangements. Our responsibility is to help leadership maintain clarity around objectives, controls, and oversight so automation efforts align with business priorities and governance expectations.

Why This Relationship Exists

Some organizations pursue automation initiatives that require both operational execution and governance oversight. In these cases, advisory guidance and delivery expertise operate in parallel. iTGC’s role is to ensure leadership decisions remain grounded in strategy, risk awareness, and accountability throughout the process.

When automation initiatives involve external delivery partners, independent advisory oversight helps leadership maintain clarity, accountability, and governance throughout execution.

Data Archival

Advisory Collaboration With Sunset Point Software

iTech Governance Consulting does not provide data archiving or legacy system preservation services. In certain engagements, clients ask us to provide advisory oversight when they are decommissioning legacy systems and need to ensure data, records, and policy obligations are properly addressed. Sunset Point Software is one such provider.

Sunset Point Software specializes in preserving data from legacy systems that are being retired. These systems often contain years of operational, financial, and historical information that remains relevant for governance, audit, and institutional knowledge purposes even after the system itself is no longer in use.

Our role in these engagements is advisory. We help leadership teams identify data governance gaps, align preservation efforts with retention and records policies, clarify ownership, and ensure accountability before and during preservation activities. This work often includes policy review, data classification considerations, and coordination with legal, compliance, and business stakeholders.

Any collaboration with Sunset Point Software occurs at the direction of the client. iTGC does not resell services, manage technical preservation activities, or participate in commercial arrangements. Our responsibility remains focused on governance alignment, risk awareness, and leadership decision support.

Why This Collaboration Exists

Organizations decommissioning legacy systems often discover that data governance, retention policies, and ownership decisions were never fully formalized. When historical systems are retired, questions emerge around what data must be preserved, how long it must be retained, and who remains accountable for it.

In these situations, advisory guidance is often needed alongside technical preservation services. iTech Governance Consulting provides governance and policy oversight to help leadership teams address data classification, retention alignment, and decision accountability so preservation efforts support regulatory, audit, and business requirements rather than creating new risk.

Organizations retiring legacy systems often uncover data governance and policy gaps. Independent advisory oversight helps ensure preservation efforts align with retention requirements, accountability expectations, and regulatory obligations.

Incident Response and Forensics

Advisory Collaboration With Blue Team Alpha

iTech Governance Consulting does not provide cybersecurity monitoring, threat detection, or incident response services. In certain engagements, clients ask us to provide advisory oversight when strengthening incident response readiness and external forensic support. Blue Team Alpha is one such firm.

Blue Team Alpha specializes in incident response and forensic services. Their work is highly technical and execution focused, which sits outside iTGC’s advisory role. Our involvement is limited to governance and preparedness. We help leadership teams improve incident response plans, clarify decision authority, and ensure roles, escalation paths, and third-party engagement expectations are defined before an incident occurs.

When Blue Team Alpha is engaged by a client, iTGC remains independent. We do not deliver security operations, manage incidents, or participate in commercial arrangements. Our responsibility is to help leadership ensure incident response planning is realistic, testable, and aligned with business, regulatory, and insurance expectations.

Why This Collaboration Exists

Many organizations maintain incident response plans that have never been exercised, reviewed against real forensic workflows, or aligned with cyber insurance requirements. During an incident, this often leads to confusion, delayed decisions, and unnecessary cost.

In these situations, advisory governance support alongside an external incident response firm helps leadership teams identify gaps, clarify expectations, and improve preparedness. This work frequently strengthens incident response documentation, improves coordination with forensic providers, and can support more favorable cyber insurance outcomes by demonstrating mature planning and oversight.

Organizations that engage forensic response partners before an incident often have clearer plans, stronger governance, and fewer surprises when incidents occur.
